"The guide" is part of the Awakening painting series. This series was inspired by meditative exercises, silence, and being alone with one's thoughts. The works in the series are figurative paintings that also contain abstract elements. In these paintings, birds and women depict an inner dialogue, a process of spiritual growth, where one lets go of old limiting thought structures. This process is an empowering and liberating experience that restores the joy of life and roots one in the present moment.
